Village Hall
Inside the Hall
Our village hall provides an attractive multi-purpose facility for use by the whole village community.
Main Hall

Access points to the main hall are via double doors from the entrance foyer and via a disabled access ramp to a door at the rear.

The size of main hall measures approximately 6 by 12 metres (74 square meters).

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a serving hatch opening onto the main hall.

The kitchen has a cooker, refrigerator, microwave and an auto fill counter top water boiler for hot drinks.

Crockery, cutlery and glasses are available for hirers at no extra charge.

Separate Ladies and Gentlemen’s cloakrooms are located to the rear opposite the kitchen.

There is a facility for the disabled which is combined with the ladies cloakroom.
Heating
​
The hall is heated via a series of electric heaters. These are individually controlled by timers located in the main hall. The heaters are set to come on three times per day, morning, afternoon and evening. In summer the heaters default setting is off. There is a boost system, allowing the heaters to be switched on outside of the normal time settings.
Audio/Wi-Fi
​
The hall is equipped with wi-fi which is included within the hire charge. There is a Bose sound speaker which is accessed by wi-fi and available for hirers to use.
Capacity
​
The maximum capacity of the hall for an informal gathering is 70. Chairs with padded seats are available for 40 people. There are a number of tables in the hall which can be moved or folded away to suite your requirements.
Sale of Alcohol
​
The sale of alcohol on the premises is prohibited. The consumption of alcohol for community or charitable events is allowed providing hirers who bring alcohol do so strictly for their own consumption.
